Dr. William Hare is passionate about helping patients improve both their oral health and their confidence through personalized, comprehensive dental care. He has cared for patients across multiple Grand Dental locations and enjoys developing customized treatment plans designed around each patient’s individual needs and goals.
For Dr. Hare, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is seeing how a patient’s health, function, and appearance can improve over time. Whether he is helping someone restore their smile or addressing a more complex dental concern, he values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with his patients and help them feel confident in their care.
Why Did Dr. Hare
Become a Dentist?
Dentistry has been part of Dr. Hare’s life from an early age. His father is an orthodontist, and growing up, Dr. Hare had the opportunity to see firsthand the passion his father had for his patients and his profession. Over time, Dr. Hare developed that same interest in dentistry and ultimately decided to pursue a career of his own in the field.
Today, he is proud to practice in the same profession as his father while forging his own path and developing his own approach to patient care.
Where Did Dr. Hare Study Dentistry?
Dr. Hare earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following dental school, he continued expanding his clinical knowledge through advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, clear aligners, occlusion and bite alignment, dental implants, and endodontics.
His commitment to continuing education allows him to provide comprehensive care and thoughtfully evaluate treatment options based on each patient's unique needs. Dr. Hare maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and SPEAR Education.
Outside of the Office,
What Does Dr. Hare Like to Do?
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hare enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Jackie, and their two young children. He also enjoys reading, playing golf, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
A fun fact about Dr. Hare is that he was a competitive swimmer at Lockport High School and went on to become a record holder in the 100-yard backstroke at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
